The Global Compact Network Czech Republic was launched on 2 April 2015. The creation of the Czech network began on the first anniversary of the adoption of the strategic document National Action Plan for Social Responsibility in the Czech Republic. The network’s launch event was held under the auspices of Minister of Industry and Trade with the full support of the Quality Council of the Czech Republic and other stakeholders, including signatories of the UN Global Compact in the Czech Republic.
Mission: The mission of the Local Network in the Czech Republic is to develop responsible and sustainable business practices aligned with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact. Global Compact Network Czech Republic offers its members a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, experience and innovation, and it organizes seminars and meetings to improve responsible strategy for companies and organization and to develop their sustainability efforts. As part of its cooperation with the Czech Government, the network also enables members to actively contribute to influencing the CSR policy in the country.
