Overview

The Global Compact Network Korea is a representative organization designed to implement and promote the UN Global Compact’s Ten Principles in Korea. It was launched in 2007 as an independent legal entity and consists of a Board, Steering Committee, Advisory Committee, Secretariat and Research Center.

Based on the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the Local Network’s mission is to promote corporate responsibility values and ensure they are on the mainstream agenda in Korea. The network endeavours to reach this goal through information sharing, research, education, and global and domestic networking. Participants are not only able to spread brand value and improve management efficiency through participation, but also engage in knowledge and experience sharing with other participants.
