The Global Compact Network Belarus was first introduced on 20 December 2006 with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The Global Compact Network Belarus was officially established soon after in March 2007. The Global Compact Network Belarus is not an independent legal entity and operates under the Centre of System Business Technologies SATIO, which hosts the Network Headquarters and Secretariat.
Mission and Vision: The network aims to promote the development of responsible business as a condition for sustainable development in Belarus and provides support and coordination to Belarusian organizations in implementing the UN Global Compact’s Ten Principles in their business practice.
