Representatives from multi-national companies will gather for the second meeting of the Global Business Network for Social Protection Floors. The event will be co-hosted by the International Labour Organization (ILO), and the International Organization of Employers (IOE).

This is an opportunity to share progress accomplished by the Network during its first year of existence to support the implementation of SDG 1.3 on the implementation of nationally appropriate social protection systems for all, including floors. The ambition of the Network is to promote social protection within the business community, to better document the impacts it has on business performance, and to further engage the private sector in establishing social protection floors in developing countries.
