The annual Global Meeting of the Child Labour Platform (CLP) will be held on 21-22 November 2019 in Paris, France. The CLP is the leading business initiative in the pursuit of eradicating child labour in supply chains. For this year’s meeting, the International Labour Organization, as the Secretariat of the Platform, will bring together industry leaders, influential multi-stakeholder initiatives and other partners to address the following topics: approaches to assessing and monitoring child labour risks in supply chains beyond traditional audits, dialogue between Government and business on joint efforts, child labour and youth employment in supply chains and sectoral exchange on lessons learned from sourcing countries.
