Ring the Bell for Gender Equality 2017

  • Overview

In celebration of International Women’s Day (8 March 2017), the UN Global Compact is pleased to announce that over 40 stock exchanges will host a bell ringing ceremony to raise awareness of the pivotal role the private sector can play in advancing gender equality to achieve SDG 5.

The events are organized together with UN Women, the Sustainable Stock Exchanges initiative, IFC, Women in ETFs and the World Federation of Exchanges. To find out more, please contact Danielle Chesebrough (Danielle.Chesebrough@unpri.org).
