Hosted by the Global Compact Network Mexico, this meeting will bring together the representatives and contacts from the Americas’ Local Networks to exchange best practices and key learnings. UN Global Compact in New York will present on progress of the Making Global Goals Local Business campaign as well as other key updates. The meeting will also serve as a platform for a dialogue between Headquarters and Local Networks especially on local implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a key component of the campaign.

Prior to the Regional Meeting, on 8 December, Global Compact Local Networks will gather with high-level representatives from business, Government, Civil Society and the UN system to discuss how they can work collectively to advance the SDGs in the region.
