  • Kino-mo Ltd (trading as HYPERVSN) is pleased to confirm that our company reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

It has been at the core of HYPERVSN company policy not to focus on the commercial success of the product solely, but to achieve that by continuously advancing our corporate culture, polishing daily operations and aligning our business strategy with the principles of human and labour rights, environmental friendliness and anti-corruption. In this annual Communication on Progress, submitted for the first time, we describe our efforts of implementing the 10 Principles into our business. The report is grouped into the four key areas.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • HYPERVSN respects the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights and does take account of supporting this principle in its procurement and sub-contracting processes.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • Our main manufacturing partner, Flex International, is committed to following sustainable manufacturing practices and is an active participant of the UN Global Compact. Working together, we double check it that every supplier has no account of human rights violations and are constantly improving our processes in terms of the Ten Principles and other sustainable development practices. Taking such a conscious approach applies to our relationship with all of our suppliers from all over the world, but there are still quite a few possibilities of how to improve the processes and monitor them in a better way.

  • We are taking proactive steps to make both of our offices in the UK and Belarus eco-friendly.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement environmental policies, address environmental risks and respond to environmental incidents.

  • We use long life/ low energy bulbs, encourage employees to stop using plastic cups and provide a ceramic alternative to those. COVID-19 has affected our company quite a lot and the safety of our employees and their family members has become the major priority. Since March 2020, our employees switched to working from home. We also suspended business travel and strongly discouraged personal travel.

Our company is constantly improving the technology by making it as energy efficient as possible: the energy consumption of HYPERVSN is two times lower than that of regular LED Displays. The product lifetime is up to 5 years. We encourage our clients to extend it by facilitating the spare parts removal (instead of substituting the faulty device right away) and hence, avoiding the waste management.

Moreover, our company developed several solutions to effectively spread the public safety messaging about COVID-19 through 3D Holographic Displays. One of them is a 3D Doctor who educates employees and customers about the global safety measures. Our technology enables customers to attract people’s attention without using additional materials such as paper and as a result, decrease the amount of pollution.
