    To our stakeholders:

I am pleased to confirm that ADRAR Security reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to sharing this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Despite the ongoing conflict in Libya and the numerous challenges associated to operating in the country (kindly note ADRAR Security operates at a national level), particularly since the attack on Tripoli that has started on 4 April 2019, ADRAR Security remains committed to integrate and include the Global Compact principles to its corporate strategy and operations.

    Sincerely yours,

    Ehab Dogha

    General Manager

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • ADRAR Security has not applied for a Security Operations Management System (SOMS) certification yet. Mainly because of the current context in Libya and also given the small size of the company and the contracting opportunities so far. Besides, ADRAR security went through a major change in the setup of the company in February 2018 (cancellation of our Partnership Agreement with an international private organization and reorganization of the shareholders – As per licence, ADRAR Security’s ownership is exclusively Libyan again).

    ADRAR Security is committed to:
    • Ensure workers are provided safe, suitable and sanitary work facilities

    • Protect workers from workplace harassment, including physical, verbal, sexual or psychological harassment, abuse or threats

    • Take measures to eliminate ingredients, designs, defects or side-effects that could harm or threaten human life and health during manufacturing, usage or disposal of products

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • ADRAR’s objective is to secure long term contracts with different actors based in Libya(UN agencies and INGOs) in order to develop its internal standards and apply for an international certification type ISO (within 1 to 2 years) and strengthen its commitment to defend human rights values within its operational work frame .

  • Measurement of outcomes
  • Description of how the company monitors and evaluates performance.

  • In the meantime, ADRAR Security has put in place, based on the professionalism of its shareholders and management team, internal procedures and policies which include the following:
    - Company & Employee Code of Conduct
    - Human Rights Policy
    - Environmental Policy
    - Data Protection Policy
    - Anti-Discrimination Policy
    - Substance Abuse Policy
