    I am pleased to confirm that Brandon AB reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • Brandon:
    - Supports the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
    - Have implemented and communicated a written Code of Conduct, internally and to Supplier and partners
    - Are members of BSCI, who make audits and assesments to ensure our partners compliance

  • Brandon has an open and transparent environemnt. All employees have the right, and responsibility, to report any violations or non-conformity of policies.
    We have appointed a responsibility of CSR related topics.

  • - No reports of violation or non-conformance have been made.
    - Through being a member of BSCI, we make audtis and assesments of our suppliers located in "risk countries"
    - CSR topic is discussed and reviewed on senior management level

Labour

    • A written company policy to uphold the freedom of association and collective bargaining and the elimination of forced labour, child labour and employment discrimination
    • A written policy that clearly state employee rights and responsibilities and their compensation and benefits
    • A policy requiring business partners and suppliers to adhere to the Global Compact Labour principles as well as the company's Code of Conduct

  • - Employees have the right to yearly Health check, paid by the Company
    - All employees have a separate Health Insurance, paid by the company

Environment

  • - We have a policy requiring business partners and suppliers to adhere to the Global Compact environmental principles
    - Have set internal objectives to reduce Carbon footprint, water consumption
    - Working towards being a PVC free Company

  • - Recycling bins for paper, plastic, aluminium cans are available in the office
    - Buyers are directed to always ask suppliers for environmentally frinedlier alternative
    - Buy FSC certified paper products

  • - No incidnts reported. All employees are instructed to send a non-conformity report or incident report if it occurs.
