Such goals also cover the Social Responsibility objectives of İstikbal Furnıiture. Furthermore, management carries out activities in the light of İstikbal Core Values and İstikbal Ethical Values in order to accomplish goals and and gain sustainable success in the long run. These activities are reviewed by strategic and administrative leaders in semiannually held Management Review Meetings and in annual strategic planning workshops.

    Activities with regard to create working conditions which meet job requirements in terms of safety, health and environment and protect our employees are subject to SHE (Safety, Health, Enviroment). Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety, Environment and Energy Management System is the biggest proof that shows that İstikbal Furnıiture attaches importance to issues such as Occuptional Health and Safety and environment and energy management. SHE Committee in engaged in fields such assessment of respective risks, taking preventive measures thereof, management of Kaizen projects, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and application of approaches which go beyond the law, prevention of industrial accidents and conducting accident surveys, creating SHE sense and awareness of employees thus providing work environment with appropriate conditions. Informative and awareness-raising announcements and banners regarding occupational health and safety, environment and energy management are displayed on bulletin boards and on LCD message boards and trainings thereof are provided to employess and other stakesholders on periodical basis.

  • Natural Gas and Power Consumption Amounts: In order to monitor environmental impacts and performance of product, production and services, natural gas and power consumption amounts, virgin- regenerated polyester utilization amounts, waste recycling and indicators on adhesive recycled pakagings are followed up. As İstikbal Furnıiture follows up policies which support reducing adverse effects on society and environment and utilizes its resources sobersidedly and consciously, it started to apply requirements of the Energy Management System as of 2010.
    Regerated and Virgin Polyester Utilization: İstikbal Furnıiture keeps abrast of the developing technology’s impatcs on products. It maked required investments in the name supporting the environment and increased polyester usage, accordingly. gelişen teknolojinin ürünlere etkisini yakından takip etmektedir.
    Waste Recycling: İstikbal Furnıiture recycles the packaging materials of the products it delivers to its customers. Moreover, it uses licensed companies to recycle any and all of the packaging wastes obtained from its products. The medical and chemical wastes generated in the facilities are disposed of, under control, by contracted companies. Toxic wastes are not produced as a result of production. Paper consumption decreased year by year due to BT solutions such as eBA, portal, SAP.
