    I am pleased to confirm that iPartnership reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • iP are in total support of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and will urge our fellow consultants , contractors and suppliers to understand and support this initiative.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • iPartnership will communicates our support of the Universal Declaration to our employees, partners and encourages them to do the same. .

  • Measurement of outcomes
  • Description of how the company monitors and evaluates performance.

  • We are planning an annual refresher session were these ideas are communicated to our employees. Each letter of employment of the employees also carry these affirmations and the partners of the firm will review this periodically.

Labour
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of labour rights for the company (i.e. labour rights-related risks and opportunities). Description of written policies, public commitments and company goals on labour rights.

  • iPartnership has clear written policies that clearly state employee rights and responsibilities and their compensation and benefits and endorses and conforms to the Australian legislation enacted in the Affirmative Action (Equal Employment Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999).

    iP is committed to providing a safe working environment for all employees and commits to design healthy, safe and clean environments, in completed projects and works under construction.

  • Description of concrete actions taken by the company to implement labour policies, address labour risks and respond to labour violations.

  • iPartnership operate with an open door policy where all employees have direct excess to the chief executive of the company to discuses grievances and labour right issues. iP will conduct reviews and training with employees to assist in the understanding of these issues.

  • iPartnership is planning an activity were this is communicated to our employees. After which , each letter of employment of the employees will carry these affirmations and the partners of the firm shall review this periodically.

Environment

  • iPartnership promotes a proactive approach to design, which is environmentally responsible with our work . iP are encouraging our business partners and suppliers to adhere to the Global Compact environmental principles

  • Description of concrete actions to implement environmental policies, address environmental risks and respond to environmental incidents.

  • iPartnership have internal initiatives and programmes to recycling all our waste and paper that is used in our practice . iP currently uses energy star rated equipment within our office and also intents to reduce consumption of electricity by phasing into the use of LED lights

  • Partners and associates lead, promote and review all work to create a proactive approach to design, which is environmentally responsible

Anti-Corruption

  • Description of the relevance of anti-corruption for the company (i.e. anti-corruption risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on anti-corruption.

  • iPartnership is encouraging our business partners and suppliers to adhere to the Global Compact anti-corruption principles and intend to create a protocol to guide staff in situations where they are confronted with bribery.

  • Implementation

  • iPartnership has written policy to ensure that employees do not have a direct or indirect interest in any other business, person, company or partnerships whose interests may come into conflict with iPartnership or iPartnership client interests.
