    To our stakeholders:

    I am pleased to confirm that Power Plus Company Pvt. Ltd. reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights

  • Honouring our commitment, we take care of Human Rights by following the steps as mentioned hereunder;
    At Power Plus Company Pvt. Ltd, we make sure the equality of manpower as do not encourage any sort of discrimination on the basis of;
     Race, sex, color, language, religion, origin or status etc.
    Our administration has a sound control on communication and behavioral ethics. Our management and supervisory staff are qualified and experienced. They know how to deal with the workforce, tactfully and without using any technique of harassment or intimidation. We do not allow any act which comes under human rights abuse. For us;
     Our workforce is free to represent themselves and is presumed innocent until they have performed any such act which comes under.
     All of our staff members are equal and are completely free from slavery, torture, cruel or inhuman treatment of any kind.

  • We have a sound Human Resource department which always takes care of individual’s privacy in all the matters, including their personal data about;

     We do not impose any regulation which contradict there right to have own property, freedom of thought and movement, peaceful assembly or association for any good cause.
    Our organization ensures that our workforce is;
     Fully benefited with economic, social and cultural freedom.
     They enjoy liberty of social security.
     We make all efforts to pay equal for equal work. Deal them with dignity.
     Medical care is also being provided when and where found necessary.

Labour

  •  Our vision states and focuses on Fair and Friendly business.
     Merit is the key; every opportunity is open for the person who meets the competency criteria for certain level.
     We have policy for internal hiring, anyone meeting the required criteria; can apply for their desired job.
     In our policy there is no glass ceiling on the base of gender, color, religion etc.

  • We ensure equality of manpower as we do not encourage any sort of discrimination on the basis of race, sex, color, language, religion, origin or status etc.

    Our labor is mostly on 3rd party contract therefore do not require any union but we never discourage them to form any union of to get their right of collective bargaining.

    We ensure to set criteria which minimizes the exclusion margin on the basis of any specific discrimination such as political opinion, disability or disease. Until it has a direct negative impact on ones’ job.
     We strictly restrict Child labor at our premises.
     There is no Forced labor, working at our premises.

Environment

  • Our vision is "Fair and Friendly Business"

    Our mission directs us to not to produce anything which effects the environment in destructive manner. Our entire production is focused on non-hazardous chemicals. Our preferences are to produce goods for Human Comfort and not to cause any unhygienic condition for them.

  • We do honor our commitment for these three principles as well.
    • As a precautionary measure we have specified area which is dedicated for plantation. It serves the objective of ‘Go green’.
    • This helps us to grow in house vegetables under our special care.
    • Also contributes to minimize environment’s pollution through purifying air.
    • We have strict measure of not to produce any product which generates hazardous reaction toward air or water or any other living creature.
    • Our production process does not require any chemical / raw material which is directly and dreadfully harmful for the environment.

    Following is the initiative taken during last year;
    • We have established our own ‘Windmill’ within the premises of factory which purifies the water up-to required level.
    • It is a little contribution to serve the environment hygienically.
    • We shall also take more similar initiatives to fulfill our responsibility towards the environmental protection.

    Above initiative ensures principle number 9 as well.

Anti-Corruption

  • Since our vision directs us towards fair and transparent business practices which are sound morally and ethically, we have a least compromising attitude towards bribery and the corruption, if these are imposed by any external source. Extortion is nowhere a part of our business.
