Description
  • The EDF Group Sustainable Development report, encompassing our COP, is circulated annually to various stakeholders including NGOs, government bodies and customers, on a global basis. Nearly ten thousand of our annual sustainable development reports are currently being distributed this year.

A Sustainable Development Panel has been in practise since 2004, and provides a valuable link between EDF and its stakeholders. It is composed of personalities representing the various stakeholders. In two yearly meetings, they discuss questions relevant to EDF social responsibility, including practical actions taken to implement the Global Compact principles.

Principles covered
  • Principle 1 - Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights
  • Principle 2 - Make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses
