Description
  • After our 2007 CSR report was published, we shared it with all of our key stakeholders for review and feedback. We have also engaged with stakeholders on key CSR issues identified in our internal CSR assessments. A good example of our engagement around climate change is our discussion with UK-based NGO, The Climate Group. Not only did The Climate Group China Country Director comment on our 2007 CSR Report, at the highest levels of our company, CEO Wang Jianzhou (who also chairs of our CSR Steering Committee) had the opportunity to discuss our climate change activities with The Climate Group’s senior leadership team. We are making a commitment to continue in our stakeholder engagement efforts around climate change. We believe stakeholder engagement is vital –- the feedback and learning we have gained from it has been invaluable in helping us to improve our CSR activities as a company.
