    I am pleased to confirm that Mojang AB reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • Mojangs goal is to influence that our employees and all our businesspartners respect the Universal Declaration of Human rights and environmental protection.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • Our goal for next year is to work more actively with implementing the Universal Declaration of Human rights into the company structure.

  • We work only in Sweden, but we have the whole world as our market. We make sure to work with companies that value Human rights.

Labour

  • Since we only work in Sweden we follow Swedish labor laws and we value our employees highly. We have a plan on how to work with discrimination.

  • We are publishing a staff guide this week for our employees which will make them aware of their rights and the benefits of working for Mojang.

  • We have weekly meetings with all teams and yearly follow ups with all employees.

Environment

  • We only sell our products downloadable online, which is a very good way of saving the environment. We are also planning on cutting down on traveling to save the environment.

  • We also on a local level sort all of our trash in different categories to save the environment.

  • We support the Un Convention against corruption and bribery.

  • We are in a position where bribery is not an issue for us and will stay in that position.
