We strive to create workplaces where the rights of every employee are respected irrespective of their position or duties, their gender, age, race, religion, nationality, colour, or disabilities. • Alpro Pharmacy has taken the following measures to build a culture of human rights and equality in the workplace:
    • A “Secret Guardian” notice with QR code is placed in the workplace as a bridge between employees and top management. Employees can submit their complaints and/or issues with regard to human rights violations within the workplace by scanning the QR code. These voices will reach directly to the top management and be addressed immediately.
    • Top management will monitor and assess human rights-related issues constantly throughout all our business processes, including human resource, procurement, distribution, development, and sales, and take the appropriate measures to address them. Equality and human rights training is given to every employee for them to understand and reach these standards in the workplace.

We practice energy saving at work by using a smart centralised air-conditioning system to adjust the workplace's temperature when no one is around and focus on the areas that are frequented by employees. We introduced an upcycling project named ProjectBangku to reduce workplace waste by upcycling the unwanted wooden pallets into benches and giving them a new life. Other than that, we have installed medication disposal bins in all our outlets to provide a Safe, Convenient, and Free way for the community to dispose of their expired or unused medication.

  • Measurement of outcomes
  • Description of how the company monitors and evaluates environmental performance.

  • We installed the medication disposal bins at all our outlets in October 2021 and as of May 2022 we have successfully gathered hundreds kilograms of expired or unused medication from the community.
