    I am pleased to confirm that AFPAG TECHNICAL SERVICES NIGERIA LTD reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals

  • AFPAG Technical Services Nigeria Ltd had adopted five steps to ensure that we keep fulfilling our responsibility to respect human rights in a robust manner. The five steps are listed below;
    1) Adopting the responsibility to respect human rights into its culture, knowledge and practices
    2) By identifying and understanding its risks to human rights
    3) By systematically addressing the risks to human rights and provides for remedy when needed
    4) By engaging with stakeholders to inform its approach to addressing human rights risks, and
    5) By reporting on its salient human rights risks and meets regulatory reporting requirements

Labour

  • At AFPAG Technical Services Nigeria Ltd workers' rights encompass a large array of human rights from the right to decent work and freedom of association to equal opportunity and protection against discrimination. Specific rights related to the workplace include health and safety in the workplace and the right to privacy at work, amongst many others.

  • By strengthening of enforcement machinery by way of increasing the manpower, improving infrastructure, etc. is essential for effective implementation of labour laws.

Performance is bench-marked against the production frontier estimated by our Data Envelopment Analysis.

Anti-Corruption
