    I am pleased to confirm that Applicate IT AS reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations
    Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    This Global Compact Report covers both of Applicate IT A/S and our sustainability daughter ImpactSphere A/S

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and
    its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to sharing this information with our stakeholders
    using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • Applicate IT A/S supports and respects internationally proclaimed human rights standards, including the International
    Bill of Rights and the International Labour Organizations declaration on the fundamental principles and rights at work.
    We work in the Danish department in compliance with Danish legislation and the Asian department with Vietnam legislation.

  • We live up to the human rights and continuously spread our values to all employees and other stakeholders to reduce inequality.

    We protect workers from workplace harassment, including physical, verbal, sexual or psychological harassment, abuse or threats and we Ensure workers are provided safe, suitable and sanitary work facilities.

  • Twice a year we audit that the employees are informed about our policies.

Labour

  • Applicate IT has a very openminded culture, where we appreciate free speech.

    Cooperation and interdisciplinarity are important prerequisites for high professionalism and good task solution.

    We are attending to secure labour rights and conditions of any staff members through collective agreements and state-imposed regulations concerning employee safeguarding. We ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.

  • Cooperation and interdisciplinarity are supportet as we:
    • share knowledge and collaborate across disciplines and administrations.

    A mandatory and planned Employee Development Dialogue (EDD) is held annually for all staff members and their managers. This valuable session focuses on motivation, job satisfaction, continuing professional development, and career development.

    Our Asian department will seek to provide additional healthcare for all employees.

Environment

  • Our Pat Pending ImpactSphere system contribute to improve environment and sustainability.

    We acknowledge our environmental responsibility and we actively engage in contributing to a sustainable development, by continuously improving our environmental footprint through creating sustainable and competitive solutions, beneficial for both our company, employees, customers and the society at large.

  • We share our software for free at selected universities around the world. By that we know there will be knowledge about sustainability-impact on products. The universities will create models, that will be shared public, for the use of professional customers and manufactures to improve their sustainability

    We aim to reduce our electricity consumption by 25% in our Asian department, by upgrading the air-condition to newer technology.

  • We continuously improve and increase the install base of clients using our sustainability impact framework and SaaS offering, ImpactSphere, providing sustainability modelling, calculation, simulation and assessments with the goal to ensure transparency and optimize their actual footprint.

    Upgrading of the air-condition will be implemented in 2022.

Anti-Corruption

  • Our business ethics are grounded on trustworthiness, honesty and transparency. Accordingly, employees must avoid letting financial and/or personal interests influence their work-related decisions conflict with the interests and ethics of the organization. Moreover, we expect all employees to act in accordance with applicable legislation.

    Anti-corruption is an integral part of our culture and business integrity is one of our guiding values. Applicate IT A/S applies a zero-tolerance approach to extortion and facilitation payments, corruption and bribery in all its forms. We are committed in all our business conduct to comply with UN Global Compact’s principles, as well as with all local and international anti-corruption and bribery laws.
