  • Dear Stakeholders,
    The world undergoes a dazzling change. Globalization requires compliance with economic integration in the world in such period of change; individuals, organizations and governments interact with one another either in a visible or invisible but continuous network. An incidence that happens in a country may appeal the whole world.
    Global crisis, which broke out in the international financial markets, transformed into production crisis in time and lead the world economies undergo a great economic recession. Today, we receive signals of economic mobility and believe that economic curve will start to increase worldwide.

    As Boydak Group, we make effort to discharge our responsibilities with regard to achieve sustainable development goals of the society we live in. Today, we are focused on generating best solutions to achieve best results for the future of Turkey and life quality of Turkish people with our social, environmental, and economic values that underlie our management concept of 38 companies engaged in 8 different sectors. In addition to our successes in field of business, we carry out projects to strengthen our position in terms of corporate citizenship.
    As Boydak Group, we carry out our activities in textile, electronics, energy and real estate industries with a strategy that is based on environmental awareness and conservation of natural resources as part of our social responsibility. In an environment where we move towards energy bottleneck in the 21st century, our investment strategy of Boydak Energy Group relies on focusing suborsidedly on our domestic and renewable resources.
    As Boydak Group, through our Foundation and in light of our “plant the seeds” philosophy, we carry on contributing to social and economic development of our country by means of planning, materializing especially education, culture and sports activities targeting the youth. Human Rights

  • Corporate responsibility is among the most priviledged issues of companies in the century we live in. As an industry leading corporation, we observe that impacts we produce regarding matters such as climate change, social development, employee well-being and satisfaction as well as employee loyalty to the corporation, more transparent communication with both internal and external stakeholders and human rights increase day by day and we are aware that effective steps should be taken in respect of these matters. Our stakeholders as well as our customers are aware that performance we deliver on sustainability will affect our corporate value positively in the long run. We believe our comparable performance to exalt our corporation in the eyes of our customers in future.
    Society: Our corporation supports and respects human rights. Furthermore, it disapproves violation of human rights. We adopted the principle of stimulating employee volunteerism and providing corporate support to contribute to society in the name of being beneficial to society.
    No lawsuit with regard to default of human rights obligations has been filed against İstikbal Furnıiture.

Our main purpose of carrying out stakeholder participation activities is to establish well-grounded long-term relationships by creating solution oriented and positive dialogues. We believe mutual benefit will increase provided that stakeholder participation activities are carried out within framework of certain principles and system implementations.
    It is among İstikbal Furnıiture’s priorities to develop cooperations mainly with holding companies in order to support innovation and to create added value for all customers and stakeholders with its innovative and creative thinking and implementation style for the purpose of turning İstikbal and Bellona brands into international brands and becoming “world’s sleep products leader”. Whereas, regarding other cooperations agreed on during meetings with holding companies, examplifications of innovativeness developed under joint projects support the brands in terms of becoming international brands in addition to being pioneer and model practices.

Labour

  • LABOR CONDITIONS
    We ensure that İstikbal Furnıiture employees have equity and equality of opportunity and we assess and encourage success ratio and high performance. We expect each employee to take up his job seriously and each executive to adopt his workplace. We follow up innovations about human resources, evaluate the same as per group needs and implement accordingly. We respect diversities in the industries and companies which constitute our group. We hold up local employment in the territories we live in run business.
    Equality of Opportunity- Human resources processes do not contain any prejudice which might cause discrepancy. Such approach begins on the date of recruitment, carries on with career planning and maintained until labor contract is terminated. Current processes are considered to be a policy which prevents any and all discrepancies and prejudices that may arise during work.

  • . Application management of the survey was revised in 2008 and it was conducted over portal for white-collar employees. However, feedbacks received from employees were evaluated and survey was started to carried out based on give-take method for white-collars, too, as of 2011. Survey questions are drawn up in compliance with EFQM Excellence Model, company strategies and processes, reviewed and updated under leadership of Humand resources on an annual basis. Besides, survey results sare assessed by administrative leaders participation under control of Human resources leadership and improvement activities are performed thereof.
    Home textile products are unde brand guarantee for 2 years although there aren’t any legal obligations thereof. Customer complaints which might arise within the guarantee period are evaluated by Boyser and products are either replaced or repaired as per product guarantee terms.

Environment

  • İstikbal Furnıiture owns TS ISO EN 14001 Environment Management System certificate since 2007. Environmental risks are identified, prioritized and actions required in this regard are taken and followed up in process-based workshops which are conducted within the scope of Environment Management System. Measurements on environment are conducted in order to perform legal obligations, to use natural resources efficiently, to provide a health working environment to our employees and to be able to monitor our impacts on environment. Earthing, immission, emission, dust, noise, lighting, radiation, pressure vessel and compressor controls and hoisting tests on forklifts/pallet trucks and cranes are conducted within the scope of a plan by the Utility Services Support Process and actions thereof are taken according to measurement results. It is mandatory for stakeholders who are engaged in Service and logistics activities to put their vehicles to emission measurements systematically and inappropriate vehicles are not allowed to enter facility area.

  • Effectiveness of Energy Management System is monitored by various KPI (Key Performance Indicators), MRs (Management Review) and PRs (Process Review). Employee awaness is increased thanks to annually provided energy saving trainings and saving suggestions received from suggestion system are evaluated and actions thereof are taken.

    Natural Gas and Power Consumption Amounts: In order to monitor environmental impacts and performance of product, production and services, natural gas and power consumption amounts, virgin- regenerated polyester utilization amounts, waste recycling and indicators on adhesive recycled pakagings are followed up. As İstikbal Furnıiture follows up policies which support reducing adverse effects on society and environment and utilizes its resources sobersidedly and consciously, it started to apply requirements of the Energy Management System as of 2010.

Anti-Corruption
