    I am pleased to confirm that Alfannar international co.LLC reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • AlFannar international has its clear policy in respecting and supporting the Human rights in our company and practises, we have set up a code of conduct, part of our main policy, to make our position clear for all our suppliers, employees and partners. Our Code of Conduct complies with the ISO 26000 standards and other international conventions.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • Alfannar international was so keen to run some consultation groups with our stakeholders of different prioritised levels to discuss their views of human rights and how to act collectively including their vision to have best practices related to human rights in our day to day practices. We also delivered training and awareness sessions for our employees on the Human Rights issues and encouraged them to raise a voice regarding any abuses that might take place.

  • To make sure that we are on the correct path, Alfannar international conducts a periodic reviews of all related issues to human rights led by the executive level of our directors to assure that we have achieved the target of being not only in respect with the human rights but also in real support through our practices and management system.

Labour

  • In a direct reference to the labour issues, Alfannar international has its written policies that clearly state employee rights and responsibilities and their compensation and benefits. Our policy is also requiring business partners and suppliers to adhere to the Labour principles.

  • In its action practises, Alfannar international works always on the awareness raising and training for our employees on labour rights and policies to make sure that they do understand their rights, the matter that reflecting positively on they are correctly defining their duties which at the end act as a solid base of an ideal relation between the company and the employees based on respect , mutual benefits and responsible freedom of practises

  • In Alfannar international we have a clear system enabling the employees to securely submit all their complains regarding labour issue to a system that is only accessible by the executive directors and our executive directors are on regular review and follow up with the policies practiced in real to assure that it acts in supporting the labour rights principles and make sure that they are implemented in the right path.

Environment

  • In the area of the Environment , Alfannar international has its written company policy on environmental issues, including prevention and management of environmental risks in relation to our all kinds of practices and uphill the method we drive wastes from our office to the collectors. Our policy is also requiring our business partners and suppliers to adhere to the environmental principles.

  • In Alfannar international we keep in building the capacity in our company by raising the awareness of our employees regarding the environment proaction and raising awareness among suppliers by asking them for environmental data on their products to seriously direct their attention to act accordingly and in support to the environment at all levels within their business scale and size.

  • In our practices to ensure that we are following the right pass, Alfannar international always have a periodic review of results and out comes of applying environment policies and the awareness raising executed among our employees and suppliers by senior management

Anti-Corruption

  • In the Anti-Corruption issue, Alfannar international has it clear policy of commitment to be in compliance with all relevant laws, including anti-corruption laws and also includes a clear part regarding our business partners to eliminate all possible resources of corruption as possible.

  • In Alfannar international we have our (whistleblowing) channels and follow-up mechanisms for reporting concerns or seeking advice in any corruption cases existing or even doubted to be found, we also have a regular audit on our Internal checks and balances to ensure consistency with the anti-corruption commitment.
