  • Method is committed to developing and manufacturing products that use only materials that have been selected (using a precautionary mentality) to be safe for people and the environment. Our products are manufactured in environmentally responsible ways, tracking emissions of water and material waste and ensuring energy efficient production.

  • We use material evaluation tools to select safe formulation ingredients and rely on a rapid life cycle assessment tool to choose low-carbon packaging designs. All of our ingredients are assessed by a third party—McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry—for environmental and human safety, and all of our products are Cradle to Cradle certified.

  • We track our Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions annually, and all contract manufacturers report monthly the water, energy and material waste rates incurred in manufacturing our products. All of this information is reported through the Cradle to Cradle certification process.
