    To our stakeholders:

I am pleased to confirm that Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company Limited (ELDOWAS) reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

In this year’s annual Communication on Progress (COP) we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our Strategic Plan, culture and daily operations. They form part of our key performance indicators (KPIs) as we seek to contribute to the realization of the SDG6 on water and sanitation for all prioritizing the needs of women and girls. Over the last year also, we have brought on board more women employees in areas of engineering, plumbing, biochemistry, biology and customer service. This is because the role of women in the realization of SDG6 is critical. Further we have focused on climate action SD613 as part of enhancing quality and quantity of our water resources thus assure the availability of potable water in a sustainable manner. We also commit to sharing this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication. Stakeholders, internal and external are very important in our water and sanitation mandate. Customer service is also important in creating sustainability of our Company.
