    - CSR

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • - In our continued effort to keep our employees safe and at the same time not limiting the degree of freedom of individuals, VCC has aligned our safety management measures (SMM) in tandem with the national policies as well as the best practices observed by other leading agencies. We have resumed the organization of controlled team events in the company so that employees can bond and socialize with one another. At the same time, we also continued to observe the highest level of isolation for those who contacted COVID so that the health and well-being of the rest are preserved and protected.

    - We continued to find and create opportunities to carry out our Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR). In addition continuing to look for opportunities to deploy our platform so that we can extend our Trade for Good vision, we were also using company events and cohesion programmes to continue to instil and foster the spirit of giving and taking care of the less fortunate in the society.

  • Measurement of outcomes
  • Description of how the company monitors and evaluates performance.

  • - COVID infection and recovery. Due to our effort, the COVID infection rate within the company has been lower or in line with the national average. Given the time to rest and recover in isolation, none of our employee has suffered any long term effect from their infection.

    - CSR activities and events. Among the many informal initiatives, we have also conducted 2 more major activities with positive outcomes. We organized a company bonding event where part of the company volunteered at a local non-profit organization, Willing Hearts, to help prepare food for the needy. The other major event was our fundraising carnival which we organized in conjunction with our company anniversary, where we raised $50,000 for MINDS, a local agency that takes care of the intellectually disabled.

In addition, we also provided incentives for them to clock a certain number of hours as part of making it fun to achieve this self-learning target.

With the rolling out of the online learning platform and the strong emphasis and incentives personally offered by the CEO, we have since a majority of the employees embarked on their self-learning, with many clocking more than 20 hours of such self-learning on the platform thus far in spite of its recent roll out.
