    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • Acumatica includes the following items in its Employee Handbook to prevent human rights violations at its locations:
    • Policy Against Unlawful Harassment, Discrimination, and Retaliation
    • Equal Employment Opportunity Policy

    Acumatica is aligned to the SDGs, including SDG 5 for Women and Gender Equality. Acumatica has also completed an EcoVadis Assessment to assess its performance in areas across its supply chain, labor, environment and ethics practices which included Human Rights items.

  • Implementation

  • Acumatica implements the following activities to prevent human rights violations at its locations:
    • Ensure employees are provided safe work facilities including against workplace violence, accidents, illnesses, hazardous and toxic materials, and fires, among others
    • Prohibition of unlawful harassment, discrimination and retaliation applies to all employees, including supervisors and managers, and all customers, vendors, and independent contractors
    • Provide reasonable accommodations for any known physical or mental disability and/or religious beliefs and practices
    • Host a hotline for employees to report concerns regarding human rights violations

  • Acumatica tracks its demographics of management and employees broken down by gender in an effort to track and improve gender equality. In 2022, Acumatica completed its EcoVadis assessment and received a silver rating.

Labour

Acumatica has also completed an EcoVadis Assessment to assess its performance in areas across its supply chain, environment, ethics and labor practices.

  • Acumatica implements the following activities to provide its employees with a positive work environment:
    • Comply with minimum wage standards and provide compensation for extra or atypical working hours
    • Ensure that the company does not participate in forced or child labor
    • Provide a work environment free of unlawful harassment, discrimination and retaliation including on the basis of race, religion, color, sex (including childbirth, breast feeding and related medical conditions), gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, among others
    • Ensure employees know that their employment is at their own will, and they are capable of terminating at any time
    • Provide flexible and remote work options for all employees

Environment

  • Acumatica is committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting sustainable business practices. Our Acumatica Cloud ERP is far more energy efficient than legacy on-premises solutions and we strive to reduce our own operational footprint wherever possible. We have committed to offset all of the emissions we cannot immediately eliminate. Acumatica Summit, our annual partner and customer event is the single largest contributor to our carbon footprint and we are fully committed to maintaining or further reducing emissions while increasing participation in this valued event. Acumatica has also completed an EcoVadis Assessment to assess its performance in areas across its supply chain, ethics, labor and environment practices.

    • Use resources more efficiently and operate sustainably to reduce our environmental footprint
    • Minimize the use and ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals and other dangerous substances
    • Host a carbon neutral summit annually that is zero waste verified through MeetGreen
    • Planting trees through social syndication tool
    • Maintain a majority remote workforce
    • Helping customers reduce their carbon emissions by an average of 72% by transitioning from energy-dependent, on-premises solutions to our cloud system
    • Source 100% of Acumatica Summit-related swag locally from the US

Anti-Corruption

    • Have information security practices in place that support anti-corruption commitment
