    I am pleased to confirm that MinAltan A/S reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to sharing this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • In June 2022, MinAltan's balconies have been certified according to the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute's standards. The certification meets a wide range of strict requirements within the environment, circular economy, health, and social responsibility. This certification constitutes the primary activity for how MinAltan, since signing up to the UN Global Compact, has allocated resources to launch several actions relating to the categories of human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption.

    • Ensure workers are provided safe and sanitary work facilities on the platforms at the construction sites by educating the employees through annual courses
    • Protect workers from workplace harassment, including physical, verbal, sexual or psychological harassment, abuse, or threats by implementing a Code of
    Conduct
    • Continuously ensure that our product does not harm human rights or the environment and health during manufacturing, usage or disposal of products
    • Ensure that both MinAltan and its suppliers comply with applicable national human rights legislation

    (air pollution control, waste, water treatment systems, etc.)
    • We have analyzed the possible impact of the materials used on the environment in connection with the certification
