    I am pleased to confirm that CEI Pty Ltd reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations
    Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to sharing this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • the company has a specific policy to protect employees and their rights for eg Grievance policy and Harassment policy

  • the company has varies policies detailing the rights and process as to how employees can raise issues of their concerns.
    we also have monthly staff meetings where everyone gets an opportunity to raise any matters that may be of concern or areas of improvement

  • the company follows all the regulations applicable to the company thus we have not had any incidents.

Labour

  • the company has numerous policies protecting employee rights and what their responsivities are. we also have Equal opportunity policy so that everyone is aware that anyone can apply for any vacancy that arises with the company

  • The company is signed up with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry which helps us to ensure that we are paying our staff the correct rates.

Environment

  • we regularly review our paper and electricity usage.

  • we have been moving away from printing a number of documents eg quotes, customer request and started using soft copy options

  • there is very minimal any paper seen around the office.

Anti-Corruption

  • the company has code of conduct policy which lists the zero tolerance towards corruption and corrupt practices

  • staff are made aware that the company does not engage in such activities and they are encouraged to speak up if they see any such activity
