In 2022, a formal materiality assessment was completed assessing value and importance of ESG topics to employees, leaders with the company, external customers, and PerkinElmer investors. To achieve this significant reduction in our water consumption, since we have launched a monitoring plan for our facilities, which began with the installation of submeters. This allows us to react quickly in case of drift and helps us define our action plan for water savings. In addition a high-impact operation was the replacement of cold room compressors that were cooled by waste water with direct expansion systems.
    3) A site implemented a solvent reduction process to manufacturing. The process change resulted in large reduction of hazardous waste annually.
    4) A site in Europe replaced lighting from fluorescent bulbs to LED reducing overall energy usage.
