Human Rights

  • We continue to respect and uphold Human Rights issues in the countries we conduct our business and neither our we complicit in breaking any such rules and policies in any way. We do not hire child labour, are not complicit in human trafficking, respect the rights of indigenous peoples and endeavour to employ people with disabilities in our operations.

  • Our processes and actions are documented in as far as the policies of upholding Human Rights abuses within the organizations policies.

  • The company uses a matrix that monitors how we are perceived by our customers and the general pubic in upholding human rights in our operations and countries where we conduct our business operations.

Labour
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of labour rights for the company (i.e. labour rights-related risks and opportunities). Description of written policies, public commitments and company goals on labour rights.

  • Labour rights are sacrosanct in our operations which guarantee equal opportunities to all within the company. The company does not employ child labour, the company's laws are aligned to the laws of the countries we operate in as far as permissible hours of work, overtime work, non discrimination in the workplace, gender mainstreaming etc. All policies in as far labour rights are documented and kept by our Human Resources Department.

  • The violation of any of our Labour Relation Policies are a punishable offence that shall result in a fair and transparent sanction within the processes setout in the company's code of conduct.

  • Labour Rights are monitored through a set of performance management matrices as set out in the company's performance management system.

Environment
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of environmental protection for the company (i.e. environmental risks and opportunities). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on environmental protection.

  • The company continues to uphold environmental stewardship principles as set out in our policies and we are committed to adhered to the protection of all natural fauna and avoidance of any environmental damage to our work environment. Whilst our operations are less impactful to usage of toxic chemicals we are conscious to their impacts to the environment and we are at the fore front in developing technologies that averts the use of such products thereby promoting products that promote greater environmental responsibility. We continue to intervene in the areas of promoting Energy Efficiency , Renewable Energy technologies, and advocating the generation of low carbon technologies in our operations as a key consideration of the impacts caused by Climate Change commitment of the Paris Conference.

  • Our Environmental, Health and Safety Officer has the responsibility to compile a Risk Assessment Report on any work environment with appropriate mitigation measures documented before any work may commence or proceed. Any such reported risks and mitigatory actions become the matric that we use to measure against our performance.

  • Environmental risk check points in our policies include adherence to policies of hazardous waste management, worker safety policies and wearing of PPE and generally measuring environmental performance against key matices.

Anti-Corruption

  • Description of the relevance of anti-corruption for the company (i.e. anti-corruption risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on anti-corruption.

  • Our employees are bound by our policy handbook against corruption in as far as how we acquire new business, extortion, receipt of gifts or inducements from customers. Lifestyle audits are conducted on our staff members especially our staff who have a direct interface with customers. All staff sign a commitment for anticorruption and to report any incidents that may arise in their operations.

  • Corruption remains a top priority of the company and listed as a dismissable offence in the company's code of conduct. Above all as a measure to mitigate against this risk our employees are paid above average salaries.
