Since the adhesion to the UN Global Compact, Edelmann has installed several measures in order to adhere to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.

We created a Code of Ethics and Conduct that contains statements e.g. regarding topics as human rights, collective bargaining, abolition of all forms of forced and child labour, and anti-corruption.

Furthermore, we created a Human Rights Policy that contains topics as employment practices, contracts of employment, work relationships, child Labor, freedom of association, remuneration, hours of work, health and safety at work, equality of Treatment, and conduct of employees. Edelmann and its subsidiaries are commited to the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations.

In addition to that, Edelmann created a Environmental Concept that points out our conscious handling of natural resources and energy.

In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.
