  • Dear your Excellency,

On behalf of DAMCO's management and on my own behalf as a Managing Director of the same entity. It has been a great pleasure for me to study it and perused through all the ten principles of UNGC viz: on Human Rights and its two principles, Labour and its four principles, Environment and its three principles and finally an Anti- corruption and its main principle for which I have reckoned that it is much worthwhile to take part in this exciting movement. I have also presented this to our Company's members of Board of Directors, and the result is that they had unanimously agreed to join the UNGC in all of her activities. I also wanted to express for treating this letter as our pledge and for freshening up your memory, Myanmar is now an emerging democratic country facing enormous challenges and tasks for which we firmly believe that we could overcome it eventually. In view of this, we have a complete faith on you for the joining with UNGC would be the most valuable asset for DAMCO and our country, as well.

    Sincerely,
