Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals

  • • Treating all customers and employees with fairness, respect and honesty
    • Encouraging employees to act in an ethical manner as responsible corporate citizens, making a contribution to their community and the environment
    • Take measures to eliminate ingredients, designs, defects or side-effects that could harm or threaten human life and health during manufacturing, usage or disposal of products

Labour

  • • We promote equal employment opportunities therefore non-discriminatory policies and procedures which are known to all employees
    • We also promote and have clear policies on employee rights and responsibilities
    • We strongly advocate to all employees their benefits and compensations

  • • We train and raise awareness of employee rights which is included in their induction pack when they first join
    • All employees are entitled to medical insurance alongside life insurance, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle and work life balance therefore employees are entitled to receive physiotherapy, optical care, dental care and even massages on our cash plan programme. Our benefits are available to all employees at anytime

  • • In the last year we have increased our female staff by 40%. Both women and men are equally encouraged to career progression
    • We have conducted a new employee satisfaction survey which scored 3.8 average, with 5 being the best possible score

Environment

  • • We encourage employees to recycle as well as minimising waste and only use recyclable material for our products which are clear policies embedded in our organisation
    • We understand impacts on the environment from our organisation and/or our footprint which is known to both our customers and employees

  • Implementation

  • • We train our employees on policies for recycling material in the office alongside how to minimise waste
    • We recycle all printer ink, have separate and labelled bins for paper and plastic to be recycled
    • Provide reminders to turn off electrical equipment before leaving the office or if it is not in use
    • Liaising with our factory on using recyclable material for our products

  • Measurement of outcomes

  • • All product material is 100% recyclable and already 25% recycled
    • We are a certified carbon neutral company certified by Natural Capital Partners whereby our footprint has reduced by nearly 12%

Anti-Corruption

  • • We ensure we work against corruption in all forms including bribery and extortion

  • • A new finance policy was implemented which means employees must have all purchase or sales agreements counter signed by the finance team and the director.
