    To our stakeholders:

    I am pleased to confirm that ASE Group reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • ASE Group has a code of conduct that requires our employees and all our business partners to respect the Universal Declaration of Human rights and environmental protection. Our principals are based on internationally proclaimed human rights.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • A monthly meeting is done in which one of the man topics discussed are complaints. Complaints are revised by top management and resolved immediately.

  • Measurement of outcomes
  • Description of how the company monitors and evaluates performance.

  • ASE audits and evaluates all members of the organization one a yearly basis to ensure the implementation of our code of conduct.

Labour
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of labour rights for the company (i.e. labour rights-related risks and opportunities). Description of written policies, public commitments and company goals on labour rights.

  • ASE respects labor rights and laws universally. Our company upholds freedom of association & effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining. All forms of forced and compulsory labor is prohibited among our organization and we do not accept its practice in and of our partners' organizations. We pay full attention to acts of discrimination among our team members.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions taken by the company to implement labour policies, address labour risks and respond to labour violations.

  • All our employees are entitled to extra benefits such as Medical Insurance. No one is allowed to work unless it is with an official contract.

  • We have a 100 % compliance on approved working contracts.

Environment

  • ASE not only supports a precautionary approach to environmental challenges, but also initiates projects to promote a better environment.

  • ASE is currently almost done with our "Paperless project". Over 90% of our documents are now soft copies.

  • Measurement of outcomes
  • Description of how the company monitors and evaluates environmental performance.

  • ASE monitors departments in the organization to ensure that environmental responsibility is always in action

Anti-Corruption
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of anti-corruption for the company (i.e. anti-corruption risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on anti-corruption.

  • ASE works against all forms of corruption, including extortion and bribery

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement anti-corruption policies, address anti-corruption risks and respond to incidents.

  • All interactions and transactions are always attended to by at least 2 employees and must be documented with proof.

  • Measurement of outcomes
  • Description of how the company monitors and evaluates anti-corruption performance.

  • Regular audits, specifically financial, are being carried throughout the year.
