    C AND G AIR is please to reaffirm its support to the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compacty.

    In doing so we continually strive to improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • C AND G AIR has a Code of Ethics Policy and does not condone nor participates in the abuse of human rights.

    C AND G AIR fully supports the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

  • C AND G AIR has well developed policies and procedures in place to deal with Human Rights abuse.

    A non punitive reporting system has been established to ensure incidents can be reported wihout fear of intimidation and or descrimination. This includes placing a suggestion box in the offices.

  • Any incident of Human Rights abuse will be dealt with through our polcies and procedures, which include grievance and desciplinary codes of conduct.

Labour
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of labour rights for the company (i.e. labour rights-related risks and opportunities). Description of written policies, public commitments and company goals on labour rights.

  • C AND G AIR has well developed policies and procedures which deal with the Labour Relations issues. This includes a Code of Ethics, Grievance and Desciplinary Procedures.

  • Description of concrete actions taken by the company to implement labour policies, address labour risks and respond to labour violations.

  • All staff employed by C AND G AIR have employment contracts and job descriptions.

    The contract of employment stipulates what is required of staff members, working hours, allowable sick leave, annual leave. The job description details what is expected of the employee within the workplace on a daily basis.

    Our policies and procedures manual is alos provided to staff. The manual covers a number of issues which also relates to Labour Rights. One a particular is that the Company does not condone the sexual abuse of women and minor children.

  • All staff have the right to report any labour related issue to Company Management. This can be done through our non punitive reporting system or by lodging a grevance through our Grevance Procedures.

Environment

  • Description of the relevance of environmental protection for the company (i.e. environmental risks and opportunities). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on environmental protection.

  • C AND G AIR continues with the evaluation of our aircraft fleet to reduce carbon emmisson and noise polution. This is an on going process.

    The recycling of paper within the work place has now been implemented at all offices within the Company and is proving to be a success.

  • Staff have been encouraged not to print unnecessary emails and documents but rather to save to file on computers.

    The reduction of printing is a cost saved by the Company and to the enviroment.

  • Incidents of an enviromental nature and reported to our safety and quality departments and are investigated. Findings and recomendations are provided to senior managements for further action.

Anti-Corruption
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of anti-corruption for the company (i.e. anti-corruption risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on anti-corruption.

  • C AND G AIR fully supports the efforts of the United Nations and the Convention Against Corruption.

    White Colar crime is becoming a major problem for Private Business and Governments throughout the world.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement anti-corruption policies, address anti-corruption risks and respond to incidents.

  • C AND G AIR has a Code of Ethics and Corporate Governance Policies in place. We have a zero tolerance towards bribery, extortion and corruption within the workplace and will not deal with entities within our serphere of influence who are seen to be corrupt.

  • Company external Financial Audits are done on an annual basis.

    Staff found gulity of corrupt acts will be dismissed from the Company and could face criminal charges.
