    I am pleased to confirm that Intech AS reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • Intech is committed to respecting human rights and instructs suppliers for adherence to the UN Global Compact principles on Human Rights.
    Goals for the upcoming year is to inspect major suppliers for there adherence to our human rights policy.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • Protection of Human Rights will be part of the company CEOs responsibility.
    Breach of Human Rights policy will be reported in the company personell portal - Sticos.

  • Measurement of outcomes
  • Description of how the company monitors and evaluates performance.

  • Incidents reported in the personell portal Sticos will be automatically reported to the CEO with the action to follow up on the issue.
    The CEO is responsible for investigating and take due action in cases reported from the personell portal or from suppliers and customers.
    Reports on incidents and actions will be extracted periodically from the portal system - Sticos.

Labour
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of labour rights for the company (i.e. labour rights-related risks and opportunities). Description of written policies, public commitments and company goals on labour rights.

  • Intech has in the online Personell Handbook clearly stated the employees rights, responsibilities and benefits.
    The Personell Handbook also covers the freedom of association and collective bargaining and the elimination of forced labour, child labour and employment discrimination.
    The business support systems generates reports on reported labour related cases and overtime usage per employee.
    The nature of our current business does not require any other specific measures with the respect to labour related topics.

  • The company will look into how we can improve the possibilities for personnel with different degree of disabilities to work in Intech.

  • The personnel system tracks and reports every incident and required actions.
    The reports are forwarded to the CEO regularly.

Environment
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of environmental protection for the company (i.e. environmental risks and opportunities). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on environmental protection.

  • Intech is committed to run the operation with minimal environmental footprint. The organization is slim and we are not handling any hazardous material.
    We will be implementing measures to reduce the need for travelling by plans for implementing video conferencing and very flexible possibilities to work from home office.

  • Air travel will be reduced due to implementation of video conferencing tools
    Computer systems will be reviewed for possibilities for reduced power consumption.

    5% - 10% reduction in power consumption

Anti-Corruption
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of anti-corruption for the company (i.e. anti-corruption risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on anti-corruption.

  • Intech has a zero-tolerance for corruption, bribery and extortion in an important principle in the personnel handbook.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement anti-corruption policies, address anti-corruption risks and respond to incidents.

  • Employees are instructed to report any attempts or observations of corruption, bribery and extortion to the CEO without any delay.

  • Measurement of outcomes
  • Description of how the company monitors and evaluates anti-corruption performance.

  • Potential incidents will be reported in the only personnel system and reported to senior management at regular intervals.
    Serious incidents will be bought to senior management attention without any delay.
