How the CEO Water Mandate can help your company
The CEO Water Mandate can assist you in developing, implementing and disclosing your water sustainability policies and practices. It will enable your company to share best and emerging practices and to forge multi-stakeholder partnerships to address water challenges found in river basins around the world.

Endorsing the CEO Water Mandate gives you the opportunity to contribute to the vision of the UN Global Compact and the realization of sustainable development. The Mandate is an initiative of the UN Global Compact – implemented in partnership with the Pacific Institute – and is a special programme of the UN Secretary-General.
How to join
- Your company must be a UN Global Compact participant or intend to become one within six months
- Your CEO or equivalent must commit to the Mandate’s six core elements
- You’ll need to report annually on progress toward these elements
