    To our stakeholders:

    I am pleased to confirm that Jitasa (formerly Easy Office) reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption. Furthermore, we are pleased to report that in November of 2012, Jitasa became a certified B-Corporation.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals

  • Jitasa believes in and agrees to abide by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, regardless of our company of operation and the local laws, we agree to a higher standard of basic human rights.

  • Jitasa operates in two countries and follows the 10 principles set forth by the Global Compact. Senior Leadership from our US office is accountable to review policies and procedures and work standards at all of our global locations.

Labour

Environment

  • As an accounting firm, we have minimal environmental impact. We work in an office that relies on low cost hydro-electric power and our employees are encouraged to be paperless as much as possible.

  • One of our international locations does not have communal printers installed. Instead they have 2 monitors, reducing the amount of paper waste significantly.

Anti-Corruption

  • Jitasa supports the work of the UN Convention Against Corruption and makes efforts to ensure all employees of Jitasa behave in an ethical manner consistent with these values.
