  • I am pleased to confirm that Magelan Corporation reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.
    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights

  • We have a policy supporting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights for our own company, to our suppliers and also our partners with whom we work and promote our tourist programs

  • -We have written formal policy that support Universal Declaration of Human Rights and we provide it in our own company and also provide it to our partners and our suppliers
    -Also, have our own written questionnaire that we use during our tours, where we can find out satisfaction of our guests and are there any complaints on our services

Labour

  • -We have special document (Principles) that is part of each employee contract which straits its right and opportunity to protect itself. This is valid in our own company and also to our suppliers, especially our tours guide
    -Also, our own principles eliminates all forced and compulsory labour and also child labour
    -Our company policy support and not discriminate any gender, religion, nationality and age that is stated in our principles

  • -We have implemented a formal written policy that is regulated by our Law concerning Labor Principles
    -We constantly show and describe in written documents to our employees and our suppliers their labour rights and diverse labour force in terms of sex, nationality, religion and age

Environment

  • -We use recycle paper in our own company and inform our partner via our e-mails and programs to do the same and promote and support environmental principles
    -We promote in our programs different nationalities that are based in all part of our country. We organize one project „The Wealth of Diversity“ where we search and after that make promotion written, on Internet and in public media for different nationalities. We are manage by this project to keep unique national costumes of several ethnic unions, keep their food as a unique one for this area, keep their music and also make this area more visible. On this way we will contribute that smaller villages
    -We organize small Birdwatching fair, where we promote, monitor and try to protect unique bird species

  • -In all of our tourist programs we take large role to limit environmental impact via sustainable development
    -We monitor and after that survey and show on our web site impact of tourists that have on one area
