With support from the UN Global Compact and organised by the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary General to the Great Lakes, International Conference on the Great Lakes Region and Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Private Sector Investment Conference for the Africa Great Lakes Region will convene CEOs, investors and governments to highlight the business investment opportunities that will make a positive impact in the region. The event marks the three-year anniversary of the signing of the Peace, Security and Cooperation Framework for the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Great Lakes Region to bring about long-term stability and peace to a region that encompasses 13 countries.  

The two-day conference will bring together select actors from the public and private sectors with current and prospective interest in the region to discuss ways to enhance responsible investment in the Great Lakes region.
