WOMENpreneurs: from Start-ups to Stars

Overview

The International Organisation of Employers (IOE), Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) and the UN Global Compact are co-organising a joint digital conference on 8 December (7:45 a.m. EST/1:45 p.m. CEST) on how to make the COVID-19 recovery process a reboot for female entrepreneurship and leadership.

The event will feature the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations H.E. Amina J. Mohammed as keynote speaker, and will bring together the voices of multi-generational leaders from the private and public sectors through dialogue, in order to share, discuss and establish a footprint for collaboration around three key areas:

1. Women leading in solidarity for sustainable livelihood and shaping leadership.

2. Obstacles and opportunities to breaking through the corporate glass ceiling.

3. WOMENpreneurs-challenging the orthodoxies.
