Private Sector Forum 2019

Overview

Since 2008, the UN Secretary-General has convened the Private Sector Forum during the opening session of the General Assembly in order to bring the voice of the private sector to inter-governmental debates on key topics.

This year, the Private Sector Forum will be held as the high-level luncheon of the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Summit for chief executives, Heads of State, and leaders from the UN.

Convened by the UN Global Compact in close cooperation with UN partners, the Private Sector Forum will provide a unique platform for the private sector to demonstrate climate change actions and solutions, analyze the progress underway and foster public-private partnerships.

Participation in the Private Sector Forum is strictly by invitation only.
