New Resources and Criteria for Setting Science-based Targets (time suitable for Asia and Europe)

Overview

Building on the IPCC’s Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5°C, this month the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is introducing new technical resources to enable companies to set emissions reduction targets in line with global trajectories to keep warming at 1.5°C and well-below 2°C.

During this 90-minute webinar, participants will learn about updates to the SBTi’s target-setting methods and target validation criteria, as well as new and updated technical resources for setting science-based targets. The session will offer the opportunity to have questions answered by SBTi experts. There will be two sessions to accommodate audiences across the globe.

The session is relevant for companies interested in setting science-based targets, companies interested in updating existing targets, consultants, investors and other stakeholders.
