Inclusive South-South Cooperation: The Role of Responsible Business in Supporting National Efforts Towards Poverty Alleviation

Overview

In the context of the Second High-Level United Nations Conference on South-South Cooperation, the event will be an opportunity to discuss the critical role that the private sector can play in supporting Governments to advance inclusive economic growth and poverty alleviation, including through South-South cooperation and responsible business practices in alignment with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.

Participants are invited to share their experiences with an audience of leaders from business, civil society, academia, Government and the UN focusing on how business can adopt holistic and systemic solutions to support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, with a specific focus on South-South cooperation.

The event is organized in partnership with the Global Compact Local Network Argentina.
