    Three years into the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2018 will bring together an international community of leaders from business, investor groups, Government, the United Nations and civil society for a multi-stakeholder stocktaking on progress towards the achievement of the Global Goals at international, regional and local levels.

    Convened alongside the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Leaders Summit is our annual flagship opportunity to strengthen the public-private dialogue by engaging key stakeholders in these stocktaking conversations. This year’s Summit will feature a collection of high-level networking and engagement opportunities for business leaders at the UN.

    UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2018 (Monday, 24 September)

    09:00 – 10:00 UN General Assembly Week Welcome Breakfast

    The UN General Assembly Week Welcome Breakfast will be an opportunity to bring business and other sustainability leaders together at the United Nations to kick-off UNGA 73.

    UN Global Compact CEO Roundtable

    Three years into the establishment of the Global Goals, the UN Global Compact CEO Roundtable will be an intimate and candid stocktaking opportunity for business leaders to address progress on inequality and human rights. The Roundtable will build on the outcomes of local CEO Roundtables hosted around the world by Local Networks throughout 2018, and will feature the launch of the 2018 UN Global Compact Impact Report.

    UN Private Sector Forum
    (Delegates Dining Room)

    Convened by the Secretary-General in the context of the Nelson Mandela Peace Summit, the UN Private Sector Forum will build on the CEO Roundtable by bringing leaders from Government, the UN and civil society to join business at the table to explore how the private sector can best work with other stakeholders to scale up progress on the Global Goals and secure a more peaceful and prosperous world for all.

    In celebration of the ongoing work and achievements of business leaders in driving progress on the Global Goals, the Leaders Summit Closing Reception will offer a unique multi-stakeholder networking opportunity to reflect on key outcomes of the day, featuring the announcement of both the 2018 UN Global Compact LEAD companies and SDG Pioneers.
