How to sign up to Action Platforms

Action Platforms are open to all companies signed up to the UN Global Compact at the Participant tier.

Action Platform Fees

Business participation in Action Platforms incurs an additional cost-covering fee (quoted in the table below), which is based on a company’s annual sales/revenue. These fees are in addition to the required annual contribution in support of the UN Global Compact.

Activities

To derive full value from the experience, companies are asked to identify one representative who will engage in Action Platform activities. These typically include:

  • Consultations calls and webinars (approx. 4-6)
  • In-person meetings (approx. 1-2)
  • Regular communications via email
  • Profiling opportunities at UN Global Compact and other events.

How to Register

To sign up, log in to the UN Global Compact Dashboard using your unique username and password. From there, click on the “Action Platform” tab and the “Sign Up to Action Platforms” button to complete the form.

Given the central role of the UN Global Compact's Action Platforms and the programmatic initiatives stemming from the work of these groups, as of 1 January 2021, the UN Global Compact will conduct a basic due diligence review prior to welcoming new companies into Action Platforms. The basic review will help to ensure the integrity of the initiative and to identify any significant risks. Current Action Platform participants will not be subject to this new requirement in 2021 and can continue to engage in the platform(s) they are already a part of, recognizing their ongoing and active engagement in those issue areas.
