Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals
  • Description of the relevance of human rights for the company (i.e. human rights risk-assessment). Description of policies, public commitments and company goals on Human Rights.

  • With 25 years of expirience in textile production in Asia, we know how unreliable code of conducts in many cases are. Our focus is thus on independent, internationally recognized certificates.
We are a distribution company of three brands Neutral (certified according to SA8000 and Fairtrade), Gildan (WRAP) and Label Free. We are working with Label Free to make the brand BSCI.
All our private label production in Bangladesh is made on a factory in the BSCI initiative.
Our goal is to improve knowledge and sales of certified responsible clothing so demand will increase.

  • Implementation
  • Description of concrete actions to implement Human Rights policies, address Human Rights risks and respond to Human Rights violations.

  • First part of the problem is to make sure none of our products are made violating Human Rights which we do with certificates. Next step is to increase demand for responsible products as we could solve the systemic violation of Human Rights in the textile industry by certified every factory with the right certificates (like SA8000) if consumers were ready to pay the extra price for certified clothing. But many are not so we are working hard to promote the benefits of certified responsible clothing.

Since last year, our main partner/supplier in Bangladesh have achieved the highest level of the BSCI.
