  • Kao Industrial (Thailand) is one of the Kao Group subsidiary has adopted the Kao Human Rights Policy in line with the UN Guiding Principles of Business and Human Rights and undertakes initiative for respecting human rights through the whole process of Yoki-Monozukuri. The policy states that we support and respect international norms of behavior on human rights, undertake initiatives including conducting human rights due diligence and educating employees.

  • Kao Industrial (Thailand) implement initiative that promote respect for human rights in all of our corporate activities. We recognize the importance of continuing to further enhance these activities through dialogue with a wide range of relevant stakeholder, including employees, suppliers, consumers, etc. We make us of a variety of opportunities and methods to communicate with employees, suppliers, consumer, shareholders, business partners, local communities, government agencies, etc., endeavoring to ensure that they understand our policies and ethical standards.

Labour

  • Kao Industrial (Thailand) has complied the Kao Group policy which has established the "Kao Human Rights Policy" in line with the UN Guiding Principles of Business and Human Rights. The policy states that we support and respect international norms of behavior on human rights such as those stipulated in the International Bill of Human Rights, undertake initiatives including conducting human rights due diligence and educate employees, and make efforts to fulfill our responsibility to respect human rights throughout our entire business.

  • We have "Kao Business Conduct Guidelines" which provides specific guidance on how to put the Kao Way into practice, includes provisions relating to respecting human rights and zero tolerance against child labor, human trafficking and force labor.
    In addition, in the Guidelines for Supplier's Assessment we respect our suppliers to implement measures to eliminate all forms of discrimination and to ban forced labor. child labor and illegal labor, and accept such responsibilities. Matters relating to the preservation of the environment and respect of human rights and labor rights are specified in our contracts concluded with suppliers. In these way Kao Group includes Kao Industrial (Thailand) promote respect for human rights throughout the entire supply chain of our products in Japan, Thailand and the rest of the world.

Environment

  • From selecting materials to waste disposal, and everything in between, how much impact do products have on the environment? The standards for objectively measuring this process are referred to as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). we take to reduce the environmental impact across the product life cycle. Kao is engaged in pursuing 'eco together' with you and all the people that use our products.
    Kao Products are design for everyday use, in homes around the world. With "eco together" as the theme for our activities with various stakeholders, we must work together with customer, business partners and all of society to reduce CO2 emissions and water consumption across the lifecycle of Kao products.
