    I am pleased to confirm that [ ARAB MINE ACTION CONSULTANCY CREW (AMACC) ] reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations
    Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to sharing this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

Human Rights
  • Assessment, policy and goals

  • • AMACC has been installed a box in each branch for employees to submit their complaints and/or issues with regards to unfair treatment. These complaints are revised by top management and discussed immediately
    • AMACC has been conducted training sessions for all employees to raise the public awareness on human rights issues.”

Labour

  • • AMACC has been conducted training sessions for all employees to raise awareness about labour rights and policies
    • AMACC has been certified ISO 45001 “occupational health and safety” and health and safety of all employees are ensured (safe workplace, providing employees with all safety equipment’s needed in the work (PPE’s)
    • AMACC has been developed a policy aims to build a culture to prevent discrimination of all kinds and ensures comparable pay for comparable work and share it with all employees.
    • AMACC comply 100% with all aspects of labour law for protection of labour rights (in terms of wages, working hours, etc…)
    • AMACC have signed copy of internal regulation system from ministry of labour

Environment

  • • AMACC avoid environmental damage by adopting 3 Rs approach (Reuse, Reduce and Recycle)
    • AMACC avoid environmental damage by regular maintenance of production processes and environmental protection system (air pollution control, waste, water treatment systems, etc.)
    • AMACC has been conducted workshops to raise awareness of employees about environmental protection
    • AMACC developed and used environmentally friendly technologies like ERP.
    • AMACC raising awareness among our suppliers by asking them for environmental data on their products (supplier evaluation based on environmental criteria).
