  • The sustainability approach is part of our value proposition to our clients of training and consulting services in Chile. We have depicted our contribution to the UN Compact Program in three stages:
    • First stage: “Awareness”. In this first stage our main focus was to communicate the UN values among graduated students.
    • Second stage: “Make it happen”. In this next stage we will include the UN values to specific consultancy projects.
    • Third stage: “Engagement”. In this third stage we will make efforts to achieve engagement of our clients and students around the UN values.

    Given our recent application to the UN Compact Program our activities are still in the beginning phase. Our activities of the first stage “Awareness” by December 2015 were the following:
    We have included the subject of Sustainable Business Models within the course Operations Management of the Master of Business Administration (Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Chile, version 2015).
    Also we have included the Sustainability approach in our Supply Chain Management regular course of the Master of Marketing (Adolfo Ibañez University, version 2015).
    We have included the topic of Sustainability on the agenda of the annual conference "Supply Chain Update", held in Santiago de Chile every year. In the version 2015 the key note speaker was a Vicepresident of Brenntag Latin America with an outstanding presentation about sustainable world. Also the experiences of two domestic companies were presented (Masisa and Gerdau Aza).
    Additionally we have proposed initiatives to the Education areas of several Town Halls, selected by the number of vulnerable students. The Town Halls that we have visited in Santiago, Chile, are: La Pintana, La Granja, El Bosque and Maipú. The innovation initiatives were oriented to introduce technologies in the classroom and to evolve to paperless, based on a Chilean law that promotes the electronic signature.

Human Rights
