    I am pleased to confirm that Sima Food reaffirms its support of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption.

    In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. We also commit to share this information with our stakeholders using our primary channels of communication.

  • Sima committed to give training for the workers on how to deal with the materials to avoid harm.
    We keen about giving hats and masks in case of any workers have allergic to any product.
    We keen also about gender equality in all cases .

Labour

  • Sima doesn't participate in workforce or enslavement
    1- Sima not doing this because the relationship between the company and its staff is contractual relationship according to regulations and standards ensure that each party commit other duties and in accordance with the labor code (12) (2002).
    2- Employment contract doesn't have any part taking about workforce the employee have the right to continue his/her contract or resign according the labour law

Environment

  • The protection of the environment starts from the treatment of sewage, water and industrial wastewater .
    The goal from treating sewage water:

    1-The operation of sewage water treatment is achieved by a group of natural and chemical processes for the removal of solid and organic materials and microorganisms or reducing them to an acceptable level
    2-Removal of some of the highly concentrated nutritional elements such as phosphorus and nitrogen
    3-The processes of treatment are differentiated into introductory , primary , secondary and advanced tertiary , and the sterilization procedures come to eliminate microorganisms at the end of the treatment levels

  • Implementation

  • The implementation is done on a number of levels as the following :

    1- The screens : either mechanical or manual , in which large materials are stuck or floating on water are retained
    2- Sand separation vessels
    3- Oil removing unit
    4- Aeration vessels
    5- final sedimentation
    6- water elevation to filters
    7- sterilization unit
    8- solid desiccation units

  • 1- Prolongation of the wastewater networks’ life span
    2- Assurance of a secure waste removal system to the facility

Anti-Corruption

  • Sima Food banned all types of corruption including Bribery , extortion and fraud deception , collusion , money laundry .

  • Implementation

  • 1-Prohibiting the acceptance of gifts .
    2- Staff contracts stipulate penalties against anyone who commits corruption cases.
    3-Exemplary disciplinary action against those who commit corruption acts.
    4- Use of court procedures in procurement and contract management to ensure that corruption does not occur.
    5-Assignment of contracting procedures carefully to people commensurate with their size and extent of the risk.
    6-Not assign any purchase orders or contract for whom have a relative relationship with vendors.
